The Audubon Center for Birds of Prey

So, uh, The Audubon Center for Birds of Prey in Maitland, Florida
Sweet... more random animal related things in Metro-Orlando!

Woo, animals! Well, mostly birds.
A birds of prey rehabilitation and rescue center.
Part of the Great Florida Birding Trail.
A 2,000 mile long network of over 500 locations in Florida where bird habitats are protected.
The sites mission statement and images of birds that can all be found within Florida
And... of course you can't have something within Central Florida that Disney hasn't sponsored.
In the back of the complex is Lake Sybelia
Where there is a small boardwalk and viewing area.
Oh right, and there's also a bunch of Birds of Prey on display!
Mr. Bald Eagle
AMERICA!
Great Horned Owl <3
the best kind of owl!
American Kestrel
 Red-tailed Hawk
Uh. Peregrine Falcon
(I think)
And one last photo of this little Screech Owl.

Woo, animals!
Well, mostly birds.

  1. Nice photos --- I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. I'm a volunteer at the center. That small falcon is a Merlin, not a Peregrine. :)
